Patrick Gryczka

Finding ways to help companies succeed with the cloud is my passion.

It’s an exciting time to be a Cloud Solution Architect, with so many opportunities for companies to reduce costs, increase capabilities, and ensure that their systems are both secure and resilient.

I’m a big proponent of Serverless! I believe it’ll shape a whole new generation of applications. Ones that will be ready to scale to global proportions at the drop of a hat, but also ones that will make use of markedly reduced operational costs to make an increasing number of EdTech and Nonprofit efforts sustainable.

Interests

I'm a lifelong Brooklynite and live with my wife, Paula, and her three cats (some might say three cats is too many… let's just pretend they're wrong). When I'm not petting our cats, I enjoy playing video games, and playing at video game development.

Proud of and attached to my Polish heritage, I've been a part of the Polish Scouting Organization since my youth, and still help local scout troops and councils organize outings locally and abroad. I've also been a member of Greenpoint’s Polish American Folk Dancing Company (PAFDC), helping keep a tradition of both regal and funny outfits and dances alive. In my spare time I enjoy biking, reading science fiction, and cooking unhealthy (and increasingly spicy) snacks.
